Yay! Surprised Call

Yess... I got a call from Embassy of the Philippines Washington DC today that my passport I renewed a month ago is ready for pick up. Honestly, I was surprised because I never expect it will be ready for only a month. In their new requirements for new passport renewal and new application it should take 6 weeks. However, my passport is ready for pick up today that means it only takes a month for me. I was a bit worried when I went to DC last month because they seemed very strict with the time frame released of passports renewal and new application. The lady there even told me that I must adjust my trip next month because they cannot guarantee if my passport will arrived in less than 6 weeks. Wooo Finally, I feel relieve right now knowing that my passport is ready for pick up. We just need to drive our butt off to DC next week! I am in cloud 9 really!
