Looking For Automotive Service Equipment?

I found the perfect website for my Babe Dako. He has a Collision Repair Shop so he is always looking for good deals on equipment for the Shop. One of the most important items for the shop are automotive lifts. You always need to get the car up in the air so you can see underneath. It seems like there are more problems under the car than on top. With a good lift the automotive technician can get under the car and get the repair done quickly and making more money in the end.

Today he sent me this LINK that answers all my questions lol. I am hooked when I open the link-:)

Stressed? Try Vagus

By: Kelley Herring

The effect of stress takes a nasty toll on your life. But it doesn't just damage your psyche. It harms your body too.

Stress increases dangerous inflammatory factors called cytokines... damages the hippocampus, causing memory loss and mood disorders... reduces the brain's ability to repair itself... increases abdominal fat... interferes with thyroid function... and even increases the stickiness of the blood (which can lead to dangerous clots).

But there's something very simple you can do to help alleviate the effects of stress. Stimulate your vagus nerve.

The vagus nerve controls the relaxation response through the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. And this anti-stress machine can be turned on in a matter of minutes.

Here is the exercise.

Take a deep breath into your belly to the count of five. Pause. Breathe out slowly to the count of five. Keep your belly soft. Repeat 5 times.

With this simple and effective exercise, you instantly reduce your levels of cortisol and help your body get back to a peaceful state of balance.

In addition to a few minutes a day of soft-belly breathing, you can bolster your body's defenses against stress by engaging in regular vigorous exercise, eating a clean diet of healing foods, and enjoying fresh air and sunlight.

[Ed. Note: These days, you've got more stressors than ever before. If stress doesn't kill you outright, it most likely WILL plunge you toward all the diseases of aging, much faster than you deserve! Learn how to make your body more resilient to stress, so you can have the health and energy you need to build a brighter future.

Horse Riding Outfit For You

I am so glad the winter is almost over. I am thinking about starting a new hobby. I have always been interested in riding horses. But you know me first thing I think about is making sure I have the right clothes to ride in. So I have been looking online for some riding breeches. I am sure I will look very pretty in my riding outfit. I am not sure if looking good is more important than actually riding horses? Maybe I will just get the clothes and forget about the animals hehe.

Remembering St. Patrick's Day

March 17: General Interest
461 : Saint Patrick dies

On this day in 461 A.D., Saint Patrick, Christian missionary, bishop and apostle of Ireland, dies at Saul, Downpatrick, Ireland.

Much of what is known about Patrick's legendary life comes from the Confessio, a book he wrote during his last years. Born in Great Britain, probably in Scotland, to a well-to-do Christian family of Roman citizenship, Patrick was captured and enslaved at age 16 by Irish marauders. For the next six years, he worked as a herder in Ireland, turning to a deepening religious faith for comfort. Following the counsel of a voice he heard in a dream one night, he escaped and found passage on a ship to Britain, where he was eventually reunited with his family.

According to the Confessio, in Britain Patrick had another dream, in which an individual named Victoricus gave him a letter, entitled "The Voice of the Irish." As he read it, Patrick seemed to hear the voices of Irishmen pleading him to return to their country and walk among them once more. After studying for the priesthood, Patrick was ordained a bishop. He arrived in Ireland in 433 and began preaching the Gospel, converting many thousands of Irish and building churches around the country. After 40 years of living in poverty, teaching, traveling and working tirelessly, Patrick died on March 17, 461 in Saul, where he had built his first church.

Since that time, countless legends have grown up around Patrick. Made the patron saint of Ireland, he is said to have baptized hundreds of people on a single day, and to have used a three-leaf clover--the famous shamrock--to describe the Holy Trinity. In art, he is often portrayed trampling on snakes, in accordance with the belief that he drove those reptiles out of Ireland. For thousands of years, the Irish have observed the day of Saint Patrick's death as a religious holiday, attending church in the morning and celebrating with food and drink in the afternoon. The first St. Patrick's Day parade, though, took place not in Ireland, but the United States, when Irish soldiers serving in the English military marched through New York City in 1762. As the years went on, the parades became a show of unity and strength for persecuted Irish-American immigrants, and then a popular celebration of Irish-American heritage. The party went global in 1995, when the Irish government began a large-scale campaign to market St. Patrick's Day as a way of driving tourism and showcasing Ireland's many charms to the rest of the world. Today, March 17 is a day of international celebration, as millions of people around the globe put on their best green clothing to drink beer, watch parades and toast the luck of the Irish. Source..

My New Look

Well, today I decided to cut my hair. I kinda tired having the same look for several months now-:). I think it helps when summer comes because it is very warm here when it's summer time.
I kind of like the way my stylish cut it. It's a lil bit curly as you can see, but it will not last long because tomorrow I will have straight hair again lol. I love to curl it once in a while to enhance the new look sometimes.

However, I always prefer to have straight hair.

Getting Ready For Those Summer Bathing Suites

With the start of March I am starting to think about the summer and putting back on my bathing suite and those short shorts. But when I look in the mirror I realize that I have put on a few pounds this winter. So I am looking for a diet pill that works so that I can start to get ready now for the summer that will be here before we know it. If I give myself enough time I am sure that I will look as good this year in my bathing suit as I did last year.
