American Idol Finale, will Americans watch?

There are some who are not so excited about Idol this week. You can see some of the past winner have become successful if not in the record industry. This season seemed to start with a high quality singers and supposed ringers. The last few weeks have seen some of the worst performances so late in the show.

But despite the low ratings there are still many big fans out there. It is not the ratings juggernaut it was, but it is still winning its time slots hands down. I would expect to see some changes next season that will renew the show and bring it back from the dead.
