Craving with this Foods

Lately, I've been craving adobong kangkong. I was so happy when I went to the Fil Store on week end I found kangkong there. I made this for lunch today. My babe dako didn't ate any of it because I cooked with some fish. I knew he's not gonna eat my kangkong adobo so I cooked meat adobo for him, see below he loved it. I marinated with soy sauce, onions, garlic and vinegar. Then, put them in the oven instead of cooking in the pan. He even ate some for dinner tonight so I skipped cooking eh! Happy Me!

Last night my Babe Dako and I watched celebrity apprentice it was a few days old. I was very excited to see my favorite PIERCE was in the final two yeheyy!. He's competing against the country singer TRACE ATKINS. I can't wait to see the finale on Thursday.
On the other hand, tonight I am watching American idol. My heart was pounding when Miss Malubay sang oh my gosshh! I believe she's gonna make it next week. She's much better this week, my goodness!! she has that powerful voice that made her shines. I liked that song very much " ALONE" by: Heart! It was a great choice of song for her though! Go girl represent our country!!!

Work Boots USA

Yesterday I went shopping because was looking for some safety toe boots. I went all over the shopping mall and to every shoe store but did not find a pair I liked. After I got home I did some searching online for safety toe boots and I found some excellent pairs at Work Boots USA. They have an excellent selection there of work boots. You can shop by brand or type. They even ship to military with FPO's. If you need some work boots you had better check them out.

Reminiscing my " College Graduation Day" on March 25, 2003

Did you ever wonder why are rain clouds dark? Ok, Rain is water. Water is light in color. Rain clouds are full of water. Therefore, rain clouds should be light. Impeccable logic, but wrong! Obviously, there are always particles in the clouds. But when the particles of water are small, they reflect light and are perceived as white. When water particles become large enough to form rain drops, however, they absorb light and appear dark to us below. Heh just reminisced about the day I graduated from college on March 25, 2003. I love science but hated math lol. My Babe Dako is very good and knows so much about Science and Math coz he finished his Masters on that field. Just to reminisced about my college days makes me missed all my friends back in college. When I look back my past, reminds me of my cool but expensive alma matter lol, classmates and amazing teachers who molded me into a responsible human being. Remembering my Barkada's group when I look at my albums pics I had kept for long periods of time nothing compares the memories we've shared. It will be forever treasured. Take a look at the pics I brought with me. T'was during our dance variety show in our English major subject way back in 2003. They were all my classmates and close friends. We used to play bowling with matching beers lol. I'm longing to see them when I go back home in September.

Oh my Gosshh! I look like this 5 years ago-:)

My Easter Cards from Cards Direct

For Easter this year I went online to Cards Direct so I could send Photo Cards to all my family and friends. You can see the card in this post. It was pretty cool to share with all the family and friends we have not seen for awhile a picture of Jake that was up to date. At Cards Direct that have a huge selection for all the seasons. I am thinking about what cards I am going to send next. I am thinking that for my birthday I am going to send out cards this year instead of just getting cards from everyone. I think it is better to give than to receive. So this year for my birthday I am going to give everyone a card with my picture on the front. It is nice to be able to personalize cards so easily. It takes just a minute to upload the picture and pick out your card. They save you almost $65 on every order and you can have the cards in no time at all in a week or less. You can add a custom verse and 4 lines of personalization and $14 by shipping ground. You know I always hated going to the store and picking out an impersonal card that had little meaning. Now from my home I can make a card that really means something to me and the loved ones to whom I am sending the cards. I love Cards Direct.

Forever and Always

Today is a day that my Babe Dako and I met online. It was 2 years ago when our fate brought together and made into reality. Hard to believe time flies quickly. Tomorrow is our 1 year and 8 months being married. Every 25th and 26 of each month is a special day for both of us. I can't seems to not forget these 2 dates because it was the day we've met and got married.
While I'm sitting here, I think about the day how we brought to each other's life. Sharing both our love's dream is life's finest reward. Every day I thank the Lord for the great love we both shared, we cherish each others love and what follows will be. Our love grow stronger everyday as we face our future trials and tribulation in marriage...
Happy Anniversary to my Babe Dako! Loveyouverymuch.

Easter Egg Hunt

Today, I had great time hunting for eggs with my Babe Dako's nieces and family. I thought its a wonderful way to celebrate my easter here in the US with my new family. Its my second Easter in the US. Last time I didn't even remember what we did on Easter because I was here for only few months, I was still hesitant to get along with my in laws and we were still getting to know each other at that time. However, this year's Easter was wonderful we had very good lunch today. I didn't feel like eating that much due to my stomach being upset since yesterday. I thought I would feel better today because I took some medicine. Even though I did not eat much I really enjoyed it. Anyway, I took a photo of some left overs below (we ate the leftovers for dinner.) We had salmon, green beans, nice bread, ham, mashed potato, gravy, chicken tenders, salad and split pea soup with mint.
It was a very nice Sunday for sure. The weather was nice. It was cool but there was no wind and the sun was bright so it was very comfortable. It was a nice day to hunt for Easter Eggs. After the kids found all the eggs we had some dessert. There was a fruit tart, white chocolate mouse thingy and lemon Jello cake. They had some ice cream in the freezer but we did not eat any because there was too much especially with all the candy that the kids had in their eggs. My Babe Dako stole some Ice Cream that I ate after dinner-:)

Words to Ponder on Easter

I remember when I was still in the Philippines most people celebrate Holy Week or SEMANA SANTA. People there considered as the biggest celebration of religious festivals especially to Roman Catholic religion. I am a protestant but we celebrate easter too however, just don't have many rituals involved. Well, on easter I thought of sharing some words of God I've learned during our bible doctrine session recently. It was all about authority orientation for man and woman to all generations of the church age. During the church age, authority orientation establishes the norms and standards of absolute truth. It was said, there is a universal change of command in this world. God, Christ, Man, Woman and the authority orientation therefore, the principle of authority and authority orientation exist as a part of the plan of GOD for us Christians. All believers are subjected to the authority of Christ, the thinking and orientation God Pioneered, the mind of Christ that is were we learn authority orientation, there is something bigger in this life than us. The woman is subject to the authority of the man especially husband to wife and the pastor in the church, that means that the man must initiate leadership. The man must initiate leadership while submitting to the bible doctrine and spiritual growths.
As we grow, we learn the traits of leadership, maturity, flexibility, endurance, decisiveness, poise, justice, assertiveness, compassion, humility and sense of humor. The woman like myself must respond to that leadership as well as to bible doctrine. Women are the total responder.
The bottom line is that men are the total authority in the home that authority can be abused and is as bad as not being the leader. They exercise that leadership through loving, enduring and patient leadership. The opposite of response is reaction, women is going to react at some time on another. Being said, we both have equality privilege and equal opportunity in the spiritual life those roles are enhanced when we grow in the spiritual life.

Happy Easter Everyone!

Lucky Day

Do you know why I am writing this post? It is because I am one of the luckiest girl today I need to create a post between two paid post. heh.. Guess what? I am drained writing my previous post lol. Now I have a post between two post and I am getting paid nothing for this one. So if you are reading this post then you know that this one is for free lol. It is nice to do a free post once in a while but right now my fingers are really tired from writing those paid post. So I think this is enough for now. I will post more about nothing later heh... Lucky day, I was able to grabbed some fish from PPP earlier right after my tools installed.
Btw, its fun to catch some fish however, my fingers are getting numbed lol!

Be Informed, Cautious, Smart, Sure

What did the one oyster say to the other oyster? Here is mud in your eye.
Ok, I know that was a terrible joke about oysters but I wanted to bring some attention to the Be Oyster Aware website. Every year millions of Americans eat oysters. My favorite are Gulf oysters they are the tastiest. Many of us like to eat them raw. But we need to be careful about eating uncooked food. So go visit the website to make sure you keep your self safe and be aware of the risk and how to avoid potential problems. Just writing this is making me hungry for some oysters with cocktail sauce. But now I am aware so I can keep myself safe and I know the facts.

Car Wash

Today I washed my
new car. I always get
excited to see my car
clean. It feels like you
are getting a new car
when you see it clean
again. It is even better
when you clean it yourself.
Btw, I enjoyed washing-:)

Our Vacation to Washington DC

You know the other week we took a vacation to Washington DC. It was absolutely crazy. Even though it was March it was the nicest weather they had seen in the area since last Fall. So it seems like every one came out to see all the sites. We wanted to visit the mall because you can see a lot of historical monuments and the Smithsonian Museums. But we could not find any parking even close. So we drove around for ever looking for parking spot. Finally, we found a public lot under a hotel in Lafayette Square. Even now I am not sure exactly were we were since there were so many levels of the road there and stairs here and there. When we tried to return the doors we left the parking lot from was locked. So we walked around and around the building to find a way in. Finally we found a hotel there and figure out we could get in the parking lot through the hotel. When we finally got to our car and tried to leave we found out they only took cash to pay for the parking. Since I had no cash I had to go back to the hotel to find an ATM to get some cash. Well next time I am going to take a vacation I am going to look for family vacation ideas at Trusted Tours & Attractions. I know we can find a better place to park along with a better organized vacation and see more of Washington DC while we are there. So here is the place to go to find things to do in Washington DC. If you don't like Washington try San Diego where you can visit the San Diego zoo.

What is your Foundation?

Before I came here I have never worn any foundation in my life. One day while watching tv early in the morning I saw this tv show about bare minerals. It was very convincing though, they showed how to apply the foundation and covers all the black and white heads. Therefore, on that day I was attempted to call their customer service to order a starter kit. I thought why not give it a try where in fact I never used any foundation before. Due to the cold weather when I first got here my skin was so dry, very sensitive and had an allergic. Mind you, when I received my starter kit I applied everyday onto my face after I washed my face with luke warm water until such time I gradually loved it. Guess why? I could see the difference!
When I put it on, it covers the small dark spots in my face lol I can't see my black and white heads anymore. Since then, I was so happy with the product I still used it until now. I just got my another kit recently with eye shadow's kit and skin revival treatment. What I like about Leslie's product is, my face look natural very smooth and of course you can't really tell if my face had a lot of dark spots in it-:) I could tell the difference of my face than before using it. Now, I am stocked with them because I can't go out without wearing it.
It was very convenient too, when I run out of stock I just give them a call or I order online they will deliver it to my door. I am not advertising their product I just want to know what foundation you've been using since you got here in the US?
here's mine:

Happy week end everyone.

You know I just recently started blogging and I was surprised to make some friends who had similar interest to me also blogging. From these friends I found out about payperpost. Now I chat to other about how much I love to payperpost. I started out just to have fun with my blogging so I could share stuff with family and friends and now I am making money on blogging. Moreover, I can share my life with family who are so far away and get paid real money all at the same time. When I get more practice I am sure I can make more money in shorter periods of time. There is a lot of money to be had. What is really nice I can buy some gifts for my family with the money I earn at payperpost. You can read my previous post and see I got my mother a necklace and my father some sunglasses which I used money I earn at payperpost to pay for.
I also have made some new friends because I found out they were posting from payperpost. We chat with each other to find the best way to maximize the money we can make from payperpost. We also find ourselves chatting about other things going on in our lives. I now have friends from all over the country. My best friends from payperpost are from Texas and Hawaii. Imagine me in Maryland have friends that far away all from payperpost. I started to track were visitors to my site were from and I have visitors to my Blog from all over the world. Even this post I am getting paid for but you know this one is easy to write because I really believe what I am writing because I enjoy payperpost so much. You must try it out. Thank you payperpost community for the best opportunity that I am a part with.

Mama and Papa's Birthday Gift

While I was doing some blog hopping last night I read one of my blogger friend post about her mom's birthday on April. My gosssh! If I wasn't reading that blog I would have completely forgotten about my Mama and Papa's birthday's next month. So, today I went shopping again and found something for both of them on their birthdays next month. Their birthday falls on the same month but a week apart, I thought it would be easy for us to send them gifts together right? Hayss another expense for the US postal flat rate box. Its a kind of expensive but it is well worth it to give some small gifts to our parents since they are well deserving of it. I thought the best surprise gift for Mama would be a piece of Jewelry and I thought a necklace would be the best for her, I was really happy I came up with that idea. I bought a 10k gold necklace with heart pendant. It has a word MOM in it.

For Papa, he has asked a bunch of times for sunglasses. He wants sunglasses for driving his old car and motorcycle. So I was able to get 2 pairs of good sunglasses for him and it didn't cost as much as Mama's gift but I am pretty sure he would definitely love to wear them-:) I remember the last time I sent a box home I forgot to put sunglasses in the box and I know he was a bit disappointed because he was expecting it. He has been asking for sunglasses for sometime now. I hope it will be a surprise for them and I can control myself not to reveal our gifts when I call. I know, on their birthday they will ask me for some money so they can have a small party. Again, that will be another expense for next month! My babe Dako spoiled them a lot from the very beginning which is why they are always expecting to have a Birthday Party every year. It will be held either on Mama's birthday on the 24th April or on Papa's birthday on the 30th. They were born less than one week apart because not only same month but also they were born in the same year. Hard to believe huh!

Of course every time I send them the gifts using the US postal service I always have to include a whole bunch of chocolate lol! My nephews and nieces love to eat these chocolates especially from the US. Every time they receive the package btw, they share with the whole village. I know about it because my nieces and nephews tell everybody that they were eating chocolates from the US hehe sounds funny but its true!

Now I have to make sure I get it to the Post office first thing tomorrow before we eat all the chocolate. The hard part is to wait for at least a month it takes to get there. Last time we mailed a package it was around Christmas so we are hoping it will not take almost two months to get there this time. We shall see......

Balikbayan Box

After I filled up 4 balikbayan boxes last year. I got another 2 boxes to send home before we go visit in September. Now, that I can drive by myself I can't help to always go shopping anywhere in town. I started filling it up with different stuff that I can think of to put in the box. Here's more stuffed to put in my balikbayan boxes to send home. While shopping at Walmart yesterday, I found a bunch of stuff on sale to send home so I can share with all my neighbors there. They love to get stuff from the US even if it is a simple towel. Also I like to get toys for my nephews and nieces. The problem is I always get too much stuff for the boxes I have. But I really just love to share with them back in Philippines. I have to be careful shopping especially in Walmart I can spend hours and find many good bargains to put in my box-:)

Technical School

You know I love education and I keep thinking about going back to school. With all the time I spend on the computer I decided maybe a good technical school might be the right place for me. So I found this site to look for tech schools. From this site there is a good jumping off place to find excellent it training. You can find the nearest school to you. On this site you can look up the location and learn how to design website or just learn about programming. There is a very high demand for these kinds of trained professionals. I can not wait to find the right school for me and get started on the training to start a new career in the IT profession.

Tonight I made homemade banana bread for dessert. I did not have any milk so I used different recipe than usual and it was very good. I love to save my old bananas till they are black and then they make wonderful banana bread. It was more like bread than what I usually make but it was still very nice flavor. Usually, it is more doughy but since there was no milk it was more solid. I think also I used the toaster oven and left it on toaster for the first half of the baking then switched the oven to convection. This may have let it bake more evenly and made it more like bread. It also had a nice crust. Little bit sweet on the crust and very dark almost burnt but not quite. My Babe Dako and I ate almost half of it before we thought to take some picture. Now it is tough to save a slice for Isaac since banana bread is his favorite. He even asked for it as his cake on his birthday. Now I am full of banana bread-:)

Trip to DC

I've been to DC a lot of times however, yesterday was the first time we were able to sight seen and took a lot of pictures. We went to the Mall in Washington DC I was disappointed there was no shopping only monuments and museums-:) It was very nice fair weather so it was fun to walked along DC Mall. We even spend sometime in air and space museum that was wonderful I was able to see a lot of real airplanes. We also visited Lincoln Memorial I took a lot of pictures with the Washington Monuments and the capital building. I want to see the white house again but it was too far to walk and we were a bit tired. We decided to go back again next time. Here are few photos we had took yesterday-:)

Boxing Is Over Pac Won

Another proud and victory for the Filipino people in boxing world because Pacman won again in unanimous decision. The fight was very close though I thought Marquez gonna win however, Pacman pulled it out with the judges decision. It was fun to watched both fighters who had strong punchers and very aggressive because at the end of the fight there will be only one winner.
Its 1 AM here my Babe Dako and I are still awake. Were both headed to bed now I wish I could sleep due to my excitement and heart beats hehe every punches of PAC I screamed like no one hears me lol. Congrats to Pacman!

Have a great week end everyone.

Boxing Tonight

Actually, I am not really a big fan of boxing however, tonight I am watching Manny Pacquiao boxing live. Just so exciting to watch him boxed for our country diba? I am watching on Sopcast which is broadcasting on the internet the live feed. There are no announcers just the boxing. You can only hear the crowd cheering. Manny has not boxed yet so I am still waiting. There was another Filipino Michael Farenas who knocked down the Mexican guy twice in the second round before sending him again with below the belt knock down. It is nice I can watch online because if you try and watch on TV then it is almost $50 to watch on Pay Per View. I really hope he wins. I will have to post here later about his big win......

Celebrity Apprentice

Tonight my Babe Dako and I watched Celebrity Apprentice which was recorded on our DVR last night. I like being able to watch it when I want to and not when the network makes me. This episode was very good. All the celebrities were cordial compared to the last few shows. I was happy my favorite Pierce and his team won again tonight. I am not sad at all to see Steven leave. I was sort of tired of him. But he was not so mean. Now there are only four but they are eliminating two more first part of the next show. I hope that my favorite Pierce is going to win. We shall see...

Have a great week end everyone.

Fashion Schools California

You know I have a friend in California she is into fashion and she told me about fashion schools in California. So I went to thier website and I found a lot of schools in California where you can learn and begin a brand new career in fashion. My friend lives in LA and she found a fashion school in Los Angeles which was right around the corner from were she lives. Where better to learn about fashion than the home of Hollywood. Where else would you put a fashion school in California but in the seat of showbiz. Even if you don't live in California there are fashion schools all over the United States. Right now, I am not sure who is my favorite but after a few weeks I will pick one, of course that will be the winner hehe. I do know that I do not like Amanda she is too flirty and I don't like girls like that heh! Now the show is over I can not wait until next Thursday so we can watch it again. Celebrity Apprentice is also ON tonight but we will watch it on DVR tomorrow. I love to watch Pierce. He is very smart and cunning. I liked to watch him before on America's Got Talent. My Best Friend Jen, Best Friends Forever

She was my classmate in college, we were not really friends then since we only knew each other in the classroom. While we were in college she left and never came back to school again I always wondered where she was. You know, I am one who is concerned about others whom I have met and dealt with that was during my college days. Heh that is just the way I am. So I was curious where Jen went. After all the hurdles in life I decided with the help of my sponsor to get a job in Singapore. From the first moment I got there, I felt that my life was meaningless, I was very sad and lonely. I cried all most every night because I missed my family and friends back home. It was all too much with the new environment, new faces, cultures, my world as a whole was brand new. I hoped to at least find a new friend in Singapore so I started to go out side and walk to look around who knows I might bump some pinays outside. One Day, I went to Parkway Marine Parade it is a big shopping center in Singapore there I accidentally ran into this girl. It turns out it was the girl I was looking for few years back while I was in college. Yes she was my classmate who left and went overseas. She had gone to work in Singapore too. I thought I was just dreaming when I saw her face but I realized it was really her. Small world huh! Since then, our casual friendship turned into a really strong friendship, BFF's. Our meeting in Singapore changed both our lives especially since we were so far away from our families which is the hardest part of being away from home. Find her helped me to cope with being so homesick myself. So, we called each other everyday,we went outing, shopping, food trip etc.. Indeed! she became my best friend. We had so much fun with each other, I have learned so many things from her, she's the one who is very strong and hard working friend I missed her terribly while writing this I have tear in my eye thinking about her, the good deeds and kindness she have showed me while were still together is inevitable. She's very patients, understanding and all the qualities I look for a friend is in her's. Until one day, I have found my soul mate and I need to leave her to be with my "Babe Dako", she cried a lot. The pains that I brought to her heart was so helpless, our closeness having grown so much and having learned to love each other not only as a friend but as a real sister. The remaining days of my stay in Singapore before I came here was so hard, my heart was tearing apart when she called me every single day to let me know how sad and lonely she would be when I was gone. My heart felt so much pain, I drifted every time I heard from her saying how she missed me and being alone when I leave. The day came, time for me to depart and left my best friend. That was the saddest day of my life, knowing that I would be facing another world and starting over to find a new friends in my new home. I was not even so sad when I left my former American boss but my best friend made me really hurt. She means the world to me, I have found a true friend in her. She's so caring, thoughtful, humble and kind, I can't say enough to describe her in words.
Finally, I can't hold on the world to turned around and comes the day we say good bye to each other,'twas a sad day were drifting apart on Dec 27, 2006 however, our friendship goes on and continues to grow no matter the distance it's always there. We're still best friends forever!
To my best friend I hope you read this. I want you to know that you truly were my best friend! I missed everything about us. The only thing that gives me any kind of hope is that I know I will see you again someday. I pray we may able to stop over in Singapore when we go visit in September. I love you with all of my heart I am so blessed to have you as my friend. You are still in my heart as my best friend even though we are far apart. I am forever grateful for having you. Friends forever ok? I will do my best to still keep in touch with you by any means of communication to let you know how I really missed you. I wish you the best of everything and pls don't forget to update to me your new location.
I missed you my best friend JEN.

I Feel Pressure

You know I feel pressure to write this blog everyday. Sometimes I just worry too much about what I am going to write. So now I just need to relax and write with out thinking too much. You know if you can relax your mind you can write a lot. The hard part is relaxing to let the words flow out of your head. But sometimes I can do it but other times it is harder to just relax my mind even more when I am tired from work. The funny thing is the harder you try and relax the harder is it to do that and the harder it gets to write these post. So if you ever feel the same way about your posting let me know so that I don't think I am the only one. Thanks for the blogging support from all my brother and sister bloggers out there.

Hope everybody is having a great week.

What A Day

I shopped alone today while my Babe Dako just stayed home relaxing and watching basketball. I bought some stuff for our house in the Philippines. I thought it would be a good idea to gradually shop for some stuff we bring when we go back home in September. I know it is still 6 months away but I would rather picked some stuff I saw on the store while I shopped around. As soon I stepped inside the store I went straight to curtains section, in my previous post I already shopped some curtains/table cloth for our house here in the US so just a thought in my mind today to buy some windows and doors curtain for our house in the Philippines too. I was going nuts kept thinking how many windows and doors we had there lol. While I kept looking for the best quality curtains that would be match for the paint colors and look nice for our house in the Philippines I left my cart unattended. Besides me, there were 2 girls and 1 guy who are also looking for curtains. I glanced at them once in while because they were too noisy. Damn! when I supposed to put some curtains that I already picked I've noticed my curtain rod was gone I saw those 3 damn stupid people who run on the other side not knowing they just took the curtain rod from my cart. Can't believe it! There were some people who are just so stupid! I was so mad I tried to looked around but I didn't find them anymore. I saw the girl associates and told her what was happened she just says sorry! I told her, I can't believe there were crazy people here who are so stupid! I believe they intended to do it because I saw them running and just disappeared. Mind you, that was the last pieces of curtain rod the store had that is why those stupid people they just took it away from my cart because they didn't see any of those kinds. I was very thankful I didn't leave my purse in the cart which I usually did when I just grab something quick then leave my purse. They might as well have taken my purse IF I had left it! Oh boy! I will be crying all day if it happens.

Foods On Week End

Today was very rainy and then when the rain stopped it got really windy. My gosh I never saw it so windy! Since I stayed inside most of the day today we decided to eat some dinner out late. Usually, we are in bed at the time we ate dinner. We ate dinner at Sakura a very classy Japanese restaurant in town. It was the second time I ate there since I've been here.
My Babe Dako ordered some sushi which I did not care to eat any of it. I got a Chicken Teriyaki Bento box. First, they served us some salad with a ginger dressing. I liked it a lot. Then, we had some Miso Soup which was very tasty since I was craving some soup, my Babe Dako didn't bother to taste the soup they have served he said it was fishy lol.
With my dinner in the Box they had a lot of things. First, chicken with veggies, a ball of white rice, some California rolls, tempura shrimp and veggies and a sweet dumpling. I really liked the dumpling very tasty. Now it is sooooooo late but we are up watching TV and blogging. Over all not a bad day.

Friday, March 07, 2008

I wanted to write something here but I feel sooooooooo lazy to write anything. I wanted to take some pictures of stuff in my life but I am too lazy take the pictures and even more lazy to upload them to my computer. I was going to post about my check for writing reviews. But I am too lazy to scan the check then post it here. So basically, I am too lazy to even write this blog. My brain is just not working to think what my fingers should put here on the screen. So I have decided that I will just leave this post blank. Post nothing at all here today and just wait for tomorrow. If I feel like it maybe will post tomorrow.

Happy week end everyone!

Feeling Discomfort Today

Today is a kind of bad day for me, not feeling really good but I still do some chores around the house and run some errands outside. I have a problem with my left hand swollen since yesterday I do try to keep my arms bent to alleviate the pain but it still hurts. Actually, I have experienced this before it occurred when I wake up in the morning my ankles, neck and arms swelling but I only felt the pain with in an hour and it stopped. Today, I am worried its been two days my hand still swelling I really don't know what's going on I remembered when I woke up in the morning the other day I felt discomfort with my left hand. I told my husband "Babe Dako" about it and he wanted me to see a doctor I told him my doc can't do nothing about it. If I am in the Philippines I could find somebody to do the "HILOT" for me-:) Do you think its something to do when I sleep good at night? You know, when I'm tired I sleep so good at night and didn't bother to moved. Not sure if its my hormones circulating into my blood but I believe its related to circulation and elevation of my blood. Just don't understand the cause of this. Sometimes I would think that its something to do with the temperature? I wish I knew the answer!
Well, today I went to a Filipino Store asked my friend who is the owner if she knows what medicine I'm gonna take or apply on my hand to make the swelling goes down. Have you heard of "SALONPAS" from the Philippines? My friend gave me 1 sheet of that I tried a small piece of patch on my hand now I assumed it does help the swelling goes down. I wish I no longer feel the real discomfort tomorrow-:(

Oppss.. American Idol is On Now! I need to end up here. I wish my fav will be safe tonight you know who she is..

The Long Wait is Over.. Got my License Today

Well, today is a very long day for me. After an astonishing long wait, finally today I passed my driving test. As Per Maryland's law before you can get your license it involves exams before you even get your learner's permit, after you have your permit you still have to wait 6 months before you can have the driving test also, they generally required to take a driving class. So many requirements huh! I enrolled in driving class several months ago but only this morning I took the plunged to take my last driving lesson from the driving school I went to since I need to wait for 6 months before I can take my driving test in DMV I prefer to get it in the last minute before I went to DMV compound to take my driving test. So, I had my last driving lesson this morning then, in the afternoon my Babe Dako accompanied me to DMV wow! I am so excited being I only had to take it once then I passed while I heard of some people taking it multiple of times to pass. I've been driving using my learner's permit since I had it 6 months ago, today I feel so free, its so exciting to think I can drive anywhere by myself and not have my Babe Dako in the passenger sit always nagging me, point out direction where I go turn left, turn right whatever!
Now, I can finally have the chance to prove that I can actually drive by myself competently lol! The best part was I used my own car when I do the driving test so I was very comfortable and confident that I could passed it. The officer was very rude, she yelled at me every time she gave an instructions but I was very calm anyway and just determined that I can make it. Yesss I did it! My parallel parking was just a piece of cake lol t'was great! I did it once perfect heh I don't have any doubt that I was well prepared. My gracious! I've been waiting for half a year don't you imagine that?
My special thanks to my Babe Dako for being so supportive to me with out him I can't do all these things that have ever changed my life! Love you Babe ~

Shopping and Home made Pizza

Hello all, how was your week end going? My Babe Dako and I are having a good time this week end. We spend time together, we went grocery shopping and shopped some stuff for the house. I've been thinking lately to buy some new table cloth and curtain so today I finally bought some.

While were there in the grocery store we've been talking about what would be our dinner for tonight I feel like I've been tired eating outside all the time I know its not a good idea too to always eat outside so I decided to make our dinner. I've been craving the fruit pizza lately so we decided to have it for dinner tonight. I bought some fruits for my pizza toppings and a pre-made pizza crust I put some raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, small amount of sugar and butter for my toppings. Since my Babe is a big fan of pepperoni pizza, I made some for him too. It was so yummy psstt.. he accidentally spills my diet coke in my lap I am all wet down there lol. When he stands up he dropped the fork and knife too hehe my Babe feels clumsy tonight! Sorry Babe I write it here I cannot keep secret huh!
